To all our American
we wish you a …..
Well, I only went and did it! Cannot quite believe it myself – but it was great – absolutely amazing! Here is a charming photo of my lovely instructor from Mile End Wall (www.mileendwall.org.uk/) and me during “take-off”…
Thanks to everyone who supported me and Sailor’s Society – all very much appreciated. https://www.justgiving.com/Wenford-Limited/
Just 4 weeks to go now! Can Winnie handle a descent from 540ft?
For the first time ever, Sailors’ Society is daring their supporters to take on one of London’s biggest skyscrapers; Broadgate Tower.
Oh my, cannot quite believe how I got the nerve to even sign up for this! On Sunday June 7, 2015 (yep, better add a year to it so there is no way out!), I will find out if I can handle – and survive the challenge?
……did I tell you I am scared of heights??
Well, please support Sailors Society and me in this great cause and event by sponsoring generously – and perhaps even turn up on the day to cheer us on?
For the second consecutive year, Wenford attends the Asia Intermodal Show in Shanghai, meeting key clients and new contacts. It’s very clear that the Asia show is gaining in popularity and will be a definite target for us in years to come. Hopefully we will see you there in the future, in the meantime, join us at the Hamburg Intermodal show where Wenford will be exhibiting in November.
Thanks to all at Daikin Refrigeration Suzhou for an amazing insight into how they build, test and commission machines for the Marine Refrigeration business. Taking a day out of her week-long trip to the Shanghai Asia Intermodal Show, Winnie met some great people and experienced the highly sophisticated assembly process. If you’ve never visited this factory, it’s a must see!
